    - You must wake up early because bogota has busteling streets
    - Colombia have diffefent kindsof weather so you have to be careful where you want to go
    - you must be very careful with your personal items
    - you can use your university ID to pay transmilenio service
    - In Bogota, you can enjoy a funniest sunday in the ciclovia
    -You try to know about Bogota events in www.bogotahumana.com
    - If you can enjoy at nigth you can go to the zona T
    - Every april we celebrated our international theatre festival

  2. COLOMBIAN TIPS
    1. You can learn about the Colombian culture eating different typical dishes in the typical restaurants like “Mi Bella Antioquia” that is in everywhere around Bogota.
    2. If you like the exercise and physical activity you can go to “ciclovia” all the Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in some principal roads
    3. In Bogota you must to have an umbrella in your bag because it can rain any moment.
    4. If you want a natural park to relax you can go to “Parque Simon Bolivar” in which are some concerts too.
    5. If you like the track you can sign up to the marathon that is each year.
    6. Be careful with your personal objects. There are many robbers, especially in the Bogota´s Centre
    7. Search a good place for living. I suggest you a student’s residence; it´s cheaper, but you must check the other conditions which need for being a worthy home, such as: nearness, easiness for movility, light, internet, etc.
    8. Also, if you want to live in Bogota, you can visit the nearly towns for meeting people, things, etc. There are many touristic monuments, churches, parks, etc. in towns such as Sopo, Tocancipá, Zipaquira, Nemocon, Cogua, etc. where you can enjoy many delicious dishes, desserts, drinks and can play many funny games and you can fun with your friends.
    9. Don´t forget to learn spanish language

  3. TIPS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS IN COLOMBIA

    1. Be careful with dangerous places, do not go anywhere without company and investigated about the place you are going.

    2. Put your Passport and important documents in a safe place.

    3. Have in mind where your country embassy is located.

    4. Buy a health insurance, is better be preparated for any health problem.

    5. Transmilenio is a cheap way to transport around the city, check the route that you need before.

    6. You must go to flea market. Ask always for a discount, you can get really nice things for a slow cost.

    7. Have a least idea of the language, it is more tan necessary

    8. The traffic in Bogotá is a hell, mostly around 7-9 am and 5.7 pm those are the worst hours to go out in car.

    9. There are various places that you must visit like Monserrate, Museums, La Candelaria, La Calera and many others.

    10. The wheather is unpredictible, have an umbrela and a hat in your bag.

  4. Tips to consider coming Bogotá

    1. It is necessary know about languages of country because the main subjects are teach with the language of country.
    2. The public transportation has little traffic jaws so it is necessary get up always early for go punctual.
    3. The cost of pass is around $1.600, but in Trasmilenio use a card in different station so you can use a taxi, but this is more expensive that public transportation.
    4. The food is very typically, but it is very delicious, for example; there are many restaurants abroad and foreign for visit.
    5. I suggest visit a country very safe but, sometimes happening hurts in a few places.
    6. In Bogotá you can find restaurants with different types of dishes of the country.
    7. In Bogotá I suggest visit different places for relaxing and enjoy, for example Simon Bolivar park, Monserrate etc.
    8. In Bogotá you can find a variety of universities with high academic standards such as Universidad de la Sabana, Universidad Pontificia Javeriana, Universidad de los Andes, Universidad Del Rosario, Universidad National de Colombia.
    9. In Bogotá you'll find a variety of dishes and meals from all over the country such as Ajiaco, Sancocho, among others.
    10. In terms of places to go for fun you can find many sites such as zone T, the 85th in which you will have fun and you can go out with friends.

    * If you want to know a little history of Bogota you can go to La Candelaria , La Calera, El Museo Del Oro , Museo Nacional, La Quinta de Bolivar .

    * If you want to enjoy and drink in the Zona Rosa Bogota find the best bars.

    * If you want to live an unforgettable experience, you can use the trasmilenio.

    * When you want delicious food you can go to Andres Carne De Res

    * If you want to know a bit of the urban culture of the city you can attend every Friday night at septimazo.
